Saying thank you to people who have gone the extra mile for you, who have made the difference in your business and life is vitally important to me.
Heading to Anaheim, CA for the CHA show this week, I decided to make time in my crunched week to create a simple thank you gift. This gift has to be easily transported and easy to make in multiples from items I already have in my studio.
I love to make things from recycled items so these treat cans fit the bill perfectly! I wrapped patterned paper around a tin can (washed, dried and labels removed of course!). I added a stamped image from Cornish Heritage Farms on Marvy Uchida's scalloped circle punch. A bag of cellophane wrapped chocolates tied up with trim scraps completes the simple gift. I could not resist adding my business card!
My little presents will be handed out to people who I desperately need to thank for the success I had in 2009. It is the very least I can do to say "thank you."
