I used Cornish Heritage Farms Encouragement Expressionsto create sentiments in the centers of the hearts. I love the expression "mistakes are doorways to discovery."How many times per day do I recite this to myself?
Great thrift store projects like this one can be found in the July/August issue of Crafts n Things magazine. Make sure you see Rebekah Meier's cool stamped "feed sack" pillows! She enlarged stamped images and transfered the images to fabric to make these.
Also not to be missed is the collection of jar projects in the Designer Challenge section. There are some really cool jars with various techniques including paper crafted, painted and needle crafted jars.
