Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of playing with Eileen Hull's Sizzix ScoreBoards Pro Die - Frame & Frame Back w/Stand. My die arrived cut out of Eileen's matboard so I immediately noticed how durable and sturdy the pieces were which allows you to make almost ANYTHING with the pieces. It comes with several parts including some flower shapes, this cute as all get-out tabs (you see on the side of mine) and a little sweet heart.
Being a good neighbor, co-worker or grab bag hostess gift giver doesn't have a cost a fortune. This die, paired with a recycled food can proves that you can give an adorable yet affordable presentation to a hot cocoa gift.
I wired the back of the frame to the can by punching holes using a super heavy duty scrapbooking hole punch. For the snowman, I covered a half STYROFOAM ball with Glistening Snow-Tex from DecoArt. Rub ons by Royal and Langnickel provide some of the sweet finishing touches. My favorite part, the whimsical tiara the snowman (or snowgal) wears making her look simply glamorous. I created that from a chipboard sticker that reminded me of a crown.
I added a little rusty bell on the bottom in case I want to hang on my neighbors door while it gets so dark early outside these days. I was afraid they would miss it but now I know they will hear it jingle. I cant wait to play santa claus and put these on all my neighbor's doors later next month! Pop in some hot cocoa, candy canes, marshmallows and we are all set for an affordable hot cocoa presentation made with this terrific die!
Hope you are enjoying your week!
Life Life Creatively,

So cute and that little crown is the perfect touch. Great project!
