Welcome to the Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop featuring ideas and designs from over 50 of the industries talented designers.
Here's how it will work. All-star designers will create projects with all new Sizzix dies designed by Brenda Pinnick, Eileen Hull and Karen Burniston. Starting today, each designer will post a project on their own blog using that week's featured die. You'll be able to hop around and view all the creations by using the back and forward button on the sizzix logo on our blogs. The Hop will go on for seven weeks, with a different die being featured every Thursday. To see a list of all the designers participating in the hop, click here.
This wonderful 3 dimensional house, designed by Eileen Hull is a great one to kick this whole thing off. If you find you need some help assembling this die cut, click here. The die cut comes with several pieces, including a small house to attach to the door or side, and a little fence. I wanted to keep mine very simple looking so I did not use those two pieces.
To complete this project, you will need the following Sizzix supplies:
#65279;Sizzix Scoreboards Pro Die - House, 3D, by Eileen Hull
Sizzix 12x12 matboard, white
Sizzix Big Shot Pro die cutting machine
Armed with acrylic paint, vintage dictionary paper, lining cut from the insides of junk mail envelopes and an wide assortment of other goodies, I decided to create a funky little shack with my matboard die cut.
The tree is an added whimsy. I glued wood cuts, purchased in the floral dept of my craft store, to a styrofoam ball and popped it on a dowel to go along with my little shack.
I hope you enjoyed this project. I cant wait to hop around and see what everyone has created with this new die.
Live Life Creatively,
So sweet! Great job! :-)
